When you’re in a North Star gathering we hope you feel welcomed, cared for, and delighted. Hosting our community costs $15- $35 per person, depending on the event. If you're able, please make a charitable contribution to help us grow this civic space.

What to expect in our space
Hospitality We’ll have tasty snacks and beverages. There is always a little time for socializing at the beginning of the meeting — and we encourage you to stay afterwards to catch up with friends and colleagues or foster new relationships.
Accessibility The Public Will Building is ADA accessible for those with mobility needs. If you need additional accommodation, please let us know so we can ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for you.
A Private Space to Learn We follow Chatham House Rules — it’s a way to foster a trustworthy environment where all of us can learn together, and take some of the risks that are needed to understand and resolve complex problems. The guiding spirit is: Share the information you receive, but do not reveal the identity of who said it.
No Guests, Please We’re investing in building trusting relationships and problem solving dynamics among ~150 civic leaders who connect with the broader community through their roles in government, philanthropy, business, community advocacy, media, and the arts. As get started, we’re trying to keep the space small to give new relationships the best chance to emerge and form.
Space to Work If you need work space before 4 pm for that end-of-day Zoom call or tight deadline, just let us know! There is often a comfortable place to work or meet available.
